Los Cabos 

If you are in the market for a really luxurious hotel where every possible whim is catered for then this is the one for you.   The One & Only Palmilla is a very beautiful hotel on the Baja peninsula of Mexico.  It has everything you would expect from a luxury resort and more.  The rooms are very stylish with large sea view terraces, enormous bathrooms and a fully stocked bar (my favourite).  All their restaurants serve incredibly good food – especially Suviche and Seared and the breakfasts have a pretty wonderful setting too (see pic below).

Their is a great butler service and Carlos was wonderful at helping with everything from unpacking and locating an iron to recommending great local restaurants and day trips.  Best of all though was how much my children enjoyed the kids club and the wonderful range of activities from sushi making to learning to surf was great even for my two at the ripe old age of 9 and 11!  As always though it is the staff that really make a great hotel and the warm way every single person here greets you with their hand over the heart makes you feel very special indeed.   Another one I would love to return to…………….one day.
