One of my favourite cities. So much to do. Lots to photograph!
We stayed at the Hotel Zetta on 5th Street which we loved. Great location and although the rooms aren’t huge they have a great mezzanine area with table tennis, video games and even a piano which was a great place for the kids to hang out. The staff were really helpful recommending plenty of things to do and the bar was a cool spot to sit and people watch in the evenings after a long day of seeing the sights.

The Powell and Hyde cable car tour – the best way to see this hilly city
The Exploratorium – one of the best – designed for children’s desire to explore
A Giants baseball game – ‘lets go GIANTS’
Cycle over the Golden Gate Bridge – it just has to be done
OTG – off the grid food trucks
Ferry Plaza Farmers Market – delicious!
Pier 39 and those famous sea lions
Chinatown, Japantown and North Beach
Mission district for the cool bars and great restaurants
The brand new MOMA and the California Academy of Sciences (an aquarium and a planetarium)
